Acast makes it as easy as possible to move your episodes, show notes, and followers with zero downtime.
Let's get started.
Step 1. Create an account.
Get started here, if you haven't already.
Step 2. Import your podcast
The first page you'll be brought to after creating your account will prompt you to Create New Show or Import existing Show.
If your podcast has already been submitted to Apple Podcasts, you can easily search for the podcast and select it for import.
Otherwise, you'll need to retrieve your RSS feed URL in the input field. To find that, you'll need to go to Dashboard> Tools > Redirect feed link.
Step 3. Go to your Blubbry dashboard to begin your 301 redirect
As per Blubbry, you will need to take the following steps:
Log into your Blubbry account on the web
Click 'Dashboard'
Scroll down and click 'Destinations'
Now click on 'Tools' followed by 'Redirect feed link'
Select ‘Redirect Feed' and insert your Acast RSS feed into the box provided for Redirect URL
Confirm the Redirect
If you have any questions for the redirect, please email support@blubrry.com.
You can learn more about where you can find your Acast RSS URL here.
4. Ensure that your new host is reflected in Spotify
Spotify should be the only major podcasting platform that you will need to manually update with your new host. Luckily, we have a simple guide here. You may also find this article about obfuscating your email helpful.
If you aren't seeing your new episodes in Apple after your redirect, we'd advise checking in your Apple Podcast Connect just to make sure all looks right, or reach out to Apple directly.
