You’ve put in the hours. Researched. Recorded. Edited. Promoted. Your podcast is a labor of love — and it shows. But beyond the satisfaction of creating something great, we want to help you get paid for it. That’s where Acast's marketplace comes in.
What is Acast's marketplace?
Launched in 2020, Acast's marketplace is where podcasters and advertisers connect. It gives you access to thousands of potential sponsors — more than any other platform — and makes it easy for creators like you to start monetizing their work.
How does Acast's marketplace work?
When it comes to the marketplace, you’re in control. You decide where ads run in your episodes and which ad categories you’d prefer not to work with — no surprises.
From there, Acast’s advanced dynamic ad insertion technology takes over, placing relevant ads across your entire back catalog, not just new episodes. That means more earning potential, without extra work.
Once your show hits the payout threshold, funds are deposited straight into your bank account — simple, seamless, and stress-free.
What happens if I have my own ads baked in?
No problem — you can still join the marketplace. If you wish to continue including your own commercial messaging you will be eligible for ads, but not for sponsorship opportunities from Acast.

Who qualifies for Acast's marketplace?
If your podcast has 2,000+ monthly listeners, you’re eligible to apply — and most creators start seeing revenue once they reach around 5,000 listeners per month. Growth can happen quickly, so the sooner you apply, the better positioned you’ll be to monetize when your audience takes off.
The best part? You can join on any Acast plan — no upgrade needed. Just make sure your show follows our Community Guidelines and you’re good to go.
How do I apply to the marketplace?
Follow these steps to apply:
Navigate to your show via the Acast dashboard.
Click on the Marketplace tab and select “Apply to the marketplace”.
Enter your show’s country, note any preexisting ads, and choose whether Acast should automatically insert mid-roll markers into past episodes.
Review compliance section before agreeing.
Submit your show for review.
Once submitted, our team will review your podcast—this process can take up to 10 days. If approved, you’ll get a welcome email with next steps. If your show isn’t accepted, we’ll share more details to help you understand why.
