So you’re switching to Acast. Smart choice! But how do you do it?
2 - Go to your Ivoox dashboard to begin your 301 redirect
Click Content and select your show
Click Edit show and scroll down to RSS feed settings
Click Change feed and insert your Acast RSS feed into the box provided for Redirect URL and hit Request change
3 - Once you have received email confirmation from Ivoox, check that the redirect worked
Open your web browser (like Chrome or Safari) and enter the address of your old RSS feed URL, and hit enter. If the redirect is working, you will be taken automatically to your new feed URL at feeds.acast.com.
If you are not taken to this new Acast feed URL, then wait ten minutes, clear your browser cache (or open in incognito/private mode) and try again. If the problem persists, please email us.
4 - Ensure that your new host is reflected in Spotify
Spotify should be the only major podcasting platform that you will need to manually update with your new host. Luckily, we have a simple guide here. You may also find this article about obfuscating your email helpful.
If you aren't seeing your new episodes in Apple after your redirect, we'd advise checking in your Apple Podcast Connect just to make sure all looks right, or reach out to Apple directly.
Please note that Ivoox does not specify a turnaround time for redirecting. If you want to speed up the process, you will need to reach out to each platform to update them with your new Acast RSS feed.
