How do I move my member-only episodes to Patreon?
Updated this week

The Acast-Patreon integration will be discontinued on May 30th, 2025. This means that the private feeds previously delivered from Acast to your fans will no longer be supported on this date. If you have any public content available for the same show at Acast, it will remain hosted.

We recommend making the transition to Patreon hosting and distribution for your private episodes as soon as convenient, before the May 30th date. You can see the detailed migration steps on the Patreon guide.

You can see below how to get the proper feed to import your private content at Patreon.

If you have only public content with us, this change will not have any impact for you.

Importing your private episodes from Acast to Patreon

Before anything, we’ll need to make sure that your private episodes hosted on Acast are imported at Patreon. To help with that, Patreon created an importer tool that will get all your episodes on their system in one go.

To use the importer, you will need to get a private feed copy with all private content unlocked.

You can find your fully unlocked private feed on Acast:

  • Go to your show on https://open.acast.com/

  • In the Promotional Tools tab, open the the Patreon menu

  • Look under ‘Your Personal Patreon Feeds’

  • Copy your private RSS feed to paste it in the Patreon importer

  • Start the import at Patreon - done!

Be sure to follow Patreon's instructions in their guide for final steps (enabling Patreon RSS feed instead of Acast RSS feed in your Patreon settings will ensure subscribers are taken to their new private feed at Patreon).

To help with the migration, we unmasked the email address available in your RSS feed to help confirm your ownership of the feed at Patreon. You are welcome to turn the masking on again from the Settings tab of your show once migrated over.
