Creating a Flight

How to create a Flight in Campaign Manager 2.0

When you've created a campaign it's time to start populating it with Flights. Find 'New Flight' on the right side from within the Campaign you just created.

Now it's time to enter the details about your flight. Having filled in the Flight Name and the Time Period (i.e. how long the flight should be live), you pick:

  • 'Type': There are three different available product types: Ads, Sponsorship, and Promo. Read more about them here.

  • 'Weight': Defines how your flight will be prioritized if more than one flight is targeting the same show. Default is '5'.

  • 'Pacing Type': Determines how you want the budget / impressions to be spent: 'As fast as possible' means that the flight will be delivered on every possible listen as fast as possible while Evenly means it will take both budget / impression and deliver it evenly across the flight period.

  • 'Booked Impressions': This is where you enter the booked number of impressions. If you don't want a finite target you can check the 'Unlimited Impressions' box.

Advertiser Cost refers to the agreement you've made with the advertiser. If you enter the CPM or Fixed rate value, 'Amount' will automatically be populated by looking at the booked number of impressions.

The final part is setting the Frequency Capping if desired. Here you can decide how many times a specific ad / sponsorship should be heard by a user over time. As can be seen in the screenshot you can combine different rules to find the sweet spot.

You can now 'Create Flight' and we will you can start populating it with the actual audio ads / sponsorships when Creating a Creative.
