Sponsorship Calendar in Ad Manager is designed to give you an in-depth view into which advertisers are buying sponsorships on your inventory - whether that be sold by yourselves or sold via Acast.

When do bookings appear in the calendar?

As soon as a flight is created within Ad Manager and the relevant targeting has been applied, it will appear in the calendar.

If this is sold by yourself as the podcaster, you have an icon which indicates this is sold by the podcaster.

Can I create a placeholder booking to indicate an interest in a future slot?

Absolutely! To do this, you first have to select a Country for which the placeholder would be booked in. This will then give you an indication of the weekly listens in that country, to guide you in terms of opportunities.

Now the green empty spaces will be unlocked and you can click into any of the spaces, based on the week and the ad slot (pre/mid/post) and create the placeholder.

From here you can enter all of your details.

This will then be reflected on the calendar:

Once created, you can click on the placeholder to edit it if needed.

Once I have booked my campaign, what happens to the Placeholder?

The Placeholder is not linked directly to a campaign, and therefore once you have actually booked in the campaign, you can navigate to edit the placeholder and delete it.

**If you do not wish to book where you have a placeholder booking, please remove the placeholder at your earliest convenience, in order to allow for optimised revenue opportunities.**

Can I view the flight related to the booking?

Yes. For flights booked directly by yourself, you are able to click through to the flight in Ad Manager.
