You've always known how many people listen. Now you can see who they are: their age, gender, location and devices, plus your YouTube, TikTok and Instagram audience demographics and follower/subscriber count once you connect your accounts.
The Audience tab shows one show at a time.
Uniques
Uniques show how many different people you're reaching. This tab shows:
Unique listeners: people who listened.
Unique viewers: people who watched, for shows with video on Apple Podcasts.
Unique listeners and viewers: a combined figure with the overlap removed.
A uniques-over-time graph shows how your reach is trending.
Understand more about Uniques in this article.
Note: The individual figures won't add up to the combined one. Someone who both listened and watched counts in each individual stat, but only once in the combined number.
Demographics
See your audience's age and gender. Connect your YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts to add those audiences too.
To connect, update your podcast profile in the Marketplace tab.
Followers
Once your social accounts are connected, you'll see followers across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. It sits alongside your podcast metrics, so you can see your reach in one place.
Note: Social figures may not match what YouTube, TikTok or Instagram show in their own dashboards. Each platform applies its own filtering.
