Share Your Socials, Attract Sponsors with Marketplace profile

Connect your social media accounts to your Marketplace profile to help attract more sponsorships.

Updated this week

Acast’s Marketplace profiles make matchmaking seamless — connecting creators with advertisers that are the best fit. We’re excited to share a new update that makes them even more powerful. As you complete your profile, you can now connect your social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). By securely connecting your Socials, you’ll give our Sales team a complete view of your audience metrics.

By connecting your social account(s), you’ll help us:

  • Make your show discoverable for cross-platform campaigns

  • Pitch your show and social presence more effectively to advertisers

  • Understand your full audience, not just your podcast listeners

  • Position your show for broader, higher-value brand partnerships

How to connect your social accounts

  1. Navigate to your show via the Acast dashboard.

  2. Set up or select your profile:

    • If your profile is not yet completed: Click on the Marketplace tab and select “Get Started.” Follow the prompts to enter essential details about your podcast, including sponsorship reads, seasonal themes, and social media handles.

    • If your profile is already completed: Click on the Marketplace tab and select your Podcast or Host profile.

  3. Go to the Socials section.

  4. Choose the social media accounts you want to connect (YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram) and add the profile handle.

    1. Repeat for each account — this applies to both Podcast and Host profiles.

  5. Select “Open for campaign proposals” if you want your profile available for sponsorship opportunities.

  6. Click on Connect.

  7. Follow the authentication prompts — you’ll be directed to link your social media account and confirm access.

After connecting, your social media audience metrics will be visible to our Sales team to help position your show for sponsorship opportunities. All connections are read-only, secure, and fully controlled by you — we cannot post, edit, or remove anything from your accounts.

Supported social platforms

You can connect:

  • YouTube

  • TikTok

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

You can connect one or all accounts, for your show or hosts — whichever you want to include for monetization opportunities.

Tip: The more accounts you connect, the better we can position your show for sponsorship opportunities.

FAQ

Do I have to share my password?

You’ll need to enter your login details to connect your account. Acast uses Phyllo to handle the connection securely, and Phyllo works with their partner MagicSocial to safely authenticate your account. Your credentials are only used for authentication.

What kind of data will you see?

Our sales team can see only metrics, such as views, followers, likes, and shares. Private messages and unpublished posts remain private. No posts are made or changes applied.

If my Marketplace profile was already completed, do I need to do this again?

Since your Marketplace Profile was already started, you’re ahead of the game! To make the most of this update, we recommend reviewing your profile and connecting your social media accounts. The connection isn’t automatic, so you’ll need to provide access. Doing this helps us access your data, giving Sales a complete picture of your audience and matching you with the right brand opportunities.

Can Acast post, edit, or delete anything from my accounts?

No. We only have read-only access. We cannot post, modify, or delete your account data.

Do I have to connect all social media platforms?

Not at all! You can connect just one or as many accounts as you like — it’s completely up to you. The more accounts you link, the better we can understand your audience and promote your show. Remember, you can add any accounts tied to your podcast or its hosts, as long as they’re open for monetization opportunities.

Can I revoke access later?

Absolutely! You’re in control. To disconnect a social account:

  1. Go to your Marketplace profiles.

  2. Select your Podcast or Host profile.

  3. Navigate to the Socials section.

  4. Click the three dots next to the account you want to remove.

  5. Select Disconnect Account.

Your access will be revoked immediately, and you can reconnect anytime if you change your mind.

If I share this data, can you guarantee I’ll get sponsors?

Sharing your data doesn’t guarantee sponsorships, but giving our Sales team access to your audience metrics helps them get a fuller picture of your show, so they can better position it for sponsorship opportunities.

I’m trying to connect a different social media account, but it keeps linking the wrong one. How can I fix this?

Make sure to sign out of your social media account before authenticating a new show. Your browser remembers your last login and might automatically connect the previous account instead of letting you pick a new one.
