How to update Intro/Outro across all episodes

If you've recently changed your intro/outro file and are wondering if it will update across all your episodes, the answer is yes! This is a great feature that allows you to easily update your podcast's intro/outro without having to manually change it for each episode.

Just a heads up, though: if you set an episode as a "Trailer," the intro and outro will be automatically excluded.

Why is my old Intro/Outro still playing on a specific platform?

If you've changed your intro/outro file but are still hearing the old one on a specific platform, it is likely due to user cache. This means you'll get the same version of the audio file for ~72 hours when you are listening on the same device. So if you've recently listened to the episode on Acast from your computer, you'll get the same version for a couple of more days. If you listen on a different device, however, (as a new listener) you should get the updated file.

Does Intro/Outro Apply to Trailer Episodes?

The intro and outro will be excluded for episodes set as 'Trailer' in the type settings. You can find more information about episode types in this link. You can learn more about it here.
