Which platforms and apps can listeners use to access their private content on Access?
Updated over 6 months ago

With Access, your listeners can access their content wherever they choose to listen, whether that’s a podcast app like Apple Podcasts, your own custom app, or the web.

As long as the app or platform supports private RSS, then it will be compatible with Access. Private Access content cannot currently be played on Spotify, as the platform does not support private RSS.

The web

With Acast’s embed player, listeners can access their content directly from your website, intranet or anywhere else on the web you’d like them to have access.

You'll need to add the code snippet below to ensure that the embed player works for your private listeners, but for general info about the embed players, check out our detailed Learn articles on the embed player which explain how to incorporate the player on your website.

To allow your private listeners to use the embed player, you can use the code below to provide each of your listeners with a private embed player (you will need to replace the parameters with the unique show feed/token). You can then embed the private player on a page that sits behind your paywall and listeners can then enjoy their private content in their browser, as well as in their podcast app.
