Made an update to your show but it is not yet available on the different platforms? Keep in mind while we update the RSS feed almost immediately, it can take up to 24 hours for podcast apps to notice the change.
There's a couple of tricks though which helps speeding this up.
For platform specific cases, we have guides for Apple not updating artwork and Spotify not updating to any changes you have made your audio files (make sure that you have updated your host information on Spotify).
My artwork is not updating on platforms
If your artwork isn't updating, confirm that your artwork is following the requirements:
A minimum of 1400x1400 pixels and maximum of 3000x3000 pixels
Keep it below 512kb in file size
JPG or PNG file format
Sometimes it can help to re-upload the image on Acast, but make sure that you rename the file to something different. This helps with showing the podcast platforms that there's indeed a new file to grab.
Allow up to 24 hours for this change to be visible on platforms. If it doesn't show on a specific platform, reach out to the platform's support team where it's still not visible.
My audio is not updating
After you have replaced the audio from your Episode Settings page, it will be updated automatically in the RSS feed. Make sure that you rename the file to something different before replacing it, as this helps with making the change visible.
There may be some cache (especially if you already listened to the episode audio you replaced) before you hear the new audio, but you can bypass this by using a different device to simulate a new listener. Even if you may hear the old audio on the first device, new listeners will get the new audio.
Allow up to 24 hours for the change to be updated on the different platforms, and make sure that you have updated your host information on Spotify if they don't pick up the change.
