How does Flex handle http/https protocols?

We recommend using the https protocol, as even though RSS data is public it is best practice to encrypt communication.

Regardless, the incoming protocol (whether http or https) will be respected throughout the request lifetime. If the incoming protocol is http, we will handle the traffic in http internally and redirect to a non-encrypted version of the stitched audio file.
