About podcast cover art

Podcast covers must be square to work in apps like Apple Podcast and Acast and must be sized between 1400 and 3000 pixels. The file shouldn’t be larger than 512KB. Our image uploader will automatically take care of sizing the image exactly right. If you upload an image that isn't square, you can zoom in and out on the image using the plus and minus buttons in the top left corner to crop and zoom until you have the picture you want.

If you do not choose episode cover art, the cover art for your show will be used by default. Episode cover art is not required, and in fact, some apps (like Apple Podcasts) display episode cover art across all platforms.

When will my new cover art show up on a podcast app? Your new cover art will show on podcast apps, nevertheless, there is often a lag time between when you post your new cover art on Acast and when you see the change on iTunes and other platforms. Though the change is immediate on Acast, it may take a few days for other platforms to process.
