Why Podcast Index?
Your Distribution tab gives you the option to submit your show to the Podcast Index.
This is an open database of podcasts that was established in 2020.
Its purpose is to "preserve, protect and extend the open, independent podcasting ecosystem.”
Its directory currently holds more than 4 million podcasts! Be sure to be one of them.
Some other podcast database or apps, like Podchaser, might tap into Podcast Index to find content.
How to submit your show
To submit your show to Podcast Index, head to the Distribution tab for your show:
Among the list of apps you can submit to, click "Activate" for Podcast Index:
