While we aim to bring you the best partnerships, we know that not every brand is a perfect fit for your show. If a sponsorship request doesn't align with your content, you have the full flexibility to turn it down directly within AdCollab.
When can I decline a request?
Sponsorship requests appear in your AdCollab dashboard once they are officially proposed. At this stage, you’ll see the brand, the requirements, and the estimated revenue.
If you are already in a conversation with an Acast representative about a campaign and decide it's not the right fit, you can save everyone time by declining the invite in-product.
How to decline an invitation
Log in to your dashboard at sponsorships.acast.com (you can also access the relevant page from the email notification).
Find the relevant campaign under your Active list and click Read More to open the full details.
In the top-right corner, click the Decline button.
Provide Feedback: You’ll be asked to select a reason for declining (e.g., brand conflict, scheduling issues, or creative fit).
Why we ask for a reason
We share this feedback with our sales and planning teams. This helps us learn your preferences so that the future invitations you receive are more closely aligned with what you actually want to promote.
Can I change my mind?
If you accidentally declined a request or if your circumstances change (for example, a schedule opening up), you won't be able to "undo" the rejection manually in the tool.
In this case, simply reach out to your Acast representative through email or chat, or contact support@acast.com. We can manually jump back in to see if the opportunity is still available for you.
What happens after I decline?
Once a request is declined:
The campaign will move to your "Closed" or "Archived" view.
The project chat will become read-only, meaning you can still see previous messages for your records, but you won't be able to send new ones.
Acast planners will be notified immediately so they can look for alternative opportunities for that brand.
