Subscribing via Acast+ is the ideal way to show your favorite podcasters your support. In return, many podcasters will offer bonus content as a way to thank you for that support. Creators can set up tiers that offer different levels of support for increased content. But what is bonus content and how can you navigate your new subscription?
What is bonus content?
The most common types of bonus content are ad-free episodes and exclusive, subscription-only episodes. Ad-free episodes are exactly what they sound like— episodes with no advertisements running in them. This way you can enjoy your favorite podcasts without interruption. Bonus episodes are typically supporter-exclusive episodes that you wouldn't be able to hear anywhere else.
If you've signed up for exclusive or ad-free content and aren't seeing it, make sure you've set up your private feed correctly.
What is a tier in Acast+?
Your Acast+ show offers different bonus content or rewards based on the monthly tier that you (the member) subscribe to. Some shows may offer ad-free episodes at the $3 tier, and ad-free episodes plus an exclusive bonus episode on the $7 tier. It's up to the podcaster to decide what to offer, and up to you which tier to subscribe to.
You may choose the tier that works best for you, and you'll be billed accordingly each month. Of course, you may cancel your subscription at any time.
How often will I receive bonus content?
Each individual Acast+ show will release bonus content on their own schedule, so keep an eye (and ear) out for what they've got in store for you.
How often will I be billed?
Your Acast+ membership will be billed automatically once a month starting the day you sign up, and you can cancel at any time.
