When editing an episode to be published using Access for Publishers, you may wish to create content that is available in different ways to free listeners and paying subscribers. The dynamic audio options make it possible to add additional sections onto public and privately available episodes.
For any piece of dynamic audio content, you will need to upload a separate mp3 audio file into the correct section within Access settings.
Click the Upload button
Select the audio file from your computer
Wait for the file to upload, you will see the 'loading' icon by the Upload button
When the upload is complete, the file name will appear
Press the play button to playback audio to confirm the correct audio file has been uploaded
Dynamic Audio Types
Locked episode - for exclusively private episodes, toggle Locked on as detailed here. Otherwise, for episodes with dynamic audio content, leave the main section of the episode unlocked.
Exclusive content - The exclusive content to be accessed by paying subscribers. This will appear as the ending of the private episode after the publicly available content, at the very end of the episode.
Public promotion opening - The first thing a listener will hear on the public episode. Use the opening to promote the show's Access content, such as upcoming private episodes that they will not be able to receive otherwise.
Public ending - The final thing a listener will hear on the public episode. Use the ending to promote the show's Exclusive content they could hear if they signed up for the private feed.
Private promotion opening - The first thing a listener will hear on the exclusive episode. Use the private opening to thank listeners for their support maybe, or offer an additional message to private listeners only.
