In the world of podcasting, we know flexibility, visibility, and availability are important, and that applies to all of the moving parts of podcast distribution.

The Acast embed player is one of those features that is a go-to for many podcasters, removing that limitation to listening only in podcast players, and allowing visitors of your website to tune into your show.

We understand this need, and on Acast Create, we automatically generate an iFrame embed code for not only your show, but each individual episode. It's one of those nice things to have straight out of the box. So here's some details on how to use it:

Show Embed Player

  1. From Create, select the show you want to generate the embed player for
  2. Click Settings in the top menu bar
  3. Scroll to the Sharing & Discovery section (right under distribution) > Embed Player
  4. From here, you can select the layout (horizontal or square) and the player size (default is 188px, or you can opt for slim at 80px)
  5. Grab the embed code generated with these options, and you're all set!
(The embed code will look like this)
<iframe width="100%" height="188" src="https://embed.acast.com/thisismysupercoolpodcast" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none;overflow:hidden;"></iframe>

Episode embed player

  1. Login to Create here and select the show for which you're grabbing the code.
  2. Click on Publish Settings in the top menu bar
  3. Navigate to Embed Player
  4. From here, you can again select the layout (horizontal or square) and the player size (default is 188px, and slip is 80px)
  5. Grab the embed code generated with these options, and you're all set!
