Podcasts are fun, entertaining and interesting... but how do you listen to them? Two simple steps.
1: Get a podcast app
2: Subscribe to a podcast
Apple iPhone or iPad
If you have a an iPhone or iPad, your device comes preinstalled with the Apple Podcasts app: you already have this app. You can find it on your phone by searching for "Podcasts." This will work great to listen to podcasts. If you'd like some extra features, you could also download the Acast podcast app, or the Radio Public podcast app.
If you are on a Mac computer running Mac OSX Catalina, you already have the Apple Podcasts app installed. If you are running an older version of OSX, you already have iTunes installed. Either way, you have everything you need.
If you are on a Windows desktop, Download and install Apple iTunes.
In all of the apps mentioned above, there are hundreds of great podcasts to discover. When you have found a show you like, hit the "subscribe" button. This will ensure that the latest episodes of that show are delivered to your device when they are released. Then just click the episode you want to play and enjoy!
Here's an example of how easy it is to search for a show ("Jury Duty") and subscribe and listen on the Acast app.
