Adding your API key is a great first step, but Apple Podcasts Connect has strict matching requirements to keep your feed secure. If you are still blocked, it’s usually because of one of these setup hitches:
The API key is linked to a different show: Your Apple API key is highly specific. If you manage multiple podcasts, make sure the key you entered is directly linked to the exact show in Apple Podcasts Connect that you are trying to publish video to.
The show hasn’t been claimed correctly: Apple needs to verify that you are the rightful owner of the podcast. Double-check your Apple Podcasts Connect dashboard to ensure the show is fully claimed and active under your account.
There are duplicate versions of your show: If your show was submitted to Apple Podcasts more than once in the past, Apple’s system might be getting confused by the duplicate feeds. You will need to identify the correct, active feed and ensure your API key is linked to that specific one.
