The file size is too large
We currently support video uploads up to 10 GB. If your file exceeds this limit, you will need to compress the video or export it at a slightly lower resolution before trying again.
Unsupported file format or codec
To ensure your video plays smoothly across all devices, it needs to be in a compatible format. Make sure you are uploading a standard format (like .mp4 or .mov) using a widely supported video codec like H.264.
The file is corrupted
Occasionally, a file can get damaged or corrupted during the export process from your editing software. Try re-exporting the video from your editor and uploading the new file.
An unstable internet connection
Video files are large, and even a brief drop in your internet connection can interrupt the upload process. If your Wi-Fi is patchy, try connecting to a stronger network or using a wired ethernet cable.
Special characters in the file name
Our encoding system is highly sensitive to the way files are named. If your video file name contains special characters, emojis, or symbols, our system won’t be able to process it, and the encoding step will fail.
To resolve this, rename your video file using only standard alphanumeric characters (letters A–Z and numbers 0–9), spaces, underscores (_), or hyphens (-). Once renamed, try uploading the file again.
